The Route
🏔️ Route Character
The Cleveland Way is two walks in one: moorland ridges first across the North York Moors, then cliff-top coastal walking from Saltburn to Filey. The split between moors first and coast second makes it one of the most varied long-distance walks in the UK.
From the Sutton Bank escarpment to the dramatic coast around Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, it delivers constant scenery in both halves.
